What direction is ELearning is headed Where is E-Learning headed

In an interview recently, I was asked where I think the elearning industry is headed in the years to come.

Though I'm not going to think I'm an expert regarding new developments happening in the field of e-learning however, I know how to spot patterns over the course of.

The market for e-learning is vast.

The answer to a question regarding what direction I think it's going in isn't simple without resorting to broad generalizations.

However, I'm not sure where I see e-learning going?

It's possible that you're looking at your feet. While it's certainly not the most innovative claim However, that doesn't make it less valid.

Mobile Learning Set to Rule

The mobile learning movement will affect many aspects of e-learning. It will affect the design of instructional content as well as the application we utilize to create instructional content.

Anyone who has earned their salt in the field knows that the need to move towards mobile learning.

Software companies must gain more information about the devices people are using to browse the content they created using their software.

Companies should be aware of how their employees most often get information relevant to their job (here's one hint: you smartphones) and then look for ways to incorporate this into their business model.

Mobile learning encompasses more than just learning on an smartphone. It's only the start. We will see it impact the education sector in many ways and will likely result in the development of entirely new areas of the market.
