I'm from Venezuela. I was raised in a very tropical city with palm trees and mountains, but it was never allowed for me to explore my surroundings fully (partly due to my parents' overprotection, but mostly because of all the anxieties that surrounded my home country). Most of my time was spent inside. Reading and watching TV became my preferred methods for entertainment. I also enjoyed drawing! I would spend hours drawing my most loved anime characters as well as my family, friends, pets I was not permitted to have, costumes, and everything else.

It was more of a leisure activity that made me a bit conscious that it wouldn't go beyond that in Venezuela. My family, however, made the decision to move to UK and it changed my life. In my teen years, I'd gained more freedom, was free to go on a solo trip as well as think about what I would like to accomplish.

My love of characters and storytelling brought me to comics which in turn led me to the art of illustration. All of it became one. After some years of study (and lots of effort) I'm now freelance as an Illustrator In London.

My style is strong, fun and sometimes slightly wild (in the most appropriate way!). Sometimes it can be basic, however it may also be incredibly detailed; each illustration is a person or animal or some nice landscape. I like to think that every illustration is of a kind.

The main aim is to have amusement with it. I am reminded of things that enthralled me as a child up: really colorful characters and vivid colors that are sneaky, hilarious moments, and tiny little things to get lost in. I aim to incorporate the very most appealing aspects of all these when I create something new. If I am able to inspire viewers to feel excited or content and feel as if they've learned something new, then I've accomplished the goals I've have set for myself.

"Another significant aspect of me is the ability to laugh. I realized over time that I'm not the most qualified person to produce artwork that is serious or abstract, but I'm quite adept at creating something lighthearted which can make people laugh. I play to my strengths now."
