The love and affection for one another are among one of the essential aspects of the human experience. It is easy to conclude that they're among our most essential requirements as humans. They're the bonds which join us. They hold us in place and expose us to danger. We feel anxious about losing them as we want to hold their presence in the first place. Filmmakers face a challenge to capture this duality in all its countless design is an arduous one but in the instances when a film explores the complexities of human emotions in a candid manner, the film is an effective method of understanding the unique experience of every single individual. It's the result that is now Staff Pick Premiere, Liv Karin Dahlstrom's "Women&Wine," a comedic examination of self-destructed pride the face of the loss of a love relationship. The film was awarded with the Grand Jury Prize at the 2017 Seattle International Film Festival (full details on me here: I served as the jury member), "Women&Wine" is simultaneously a touching, unsettling and a classic portrayal of the desperate attempt by a woman to maintain a relationship with an ally.

The film opens with Turid (Marit Andreassen) and Signe (Jeanne Bee) which are females in their midlife years, who plan an unplanned birthday party for one of their group of friends Grete (Turid Gunnes). The incident, which was hilarious turns into an alleged offense which leads to Turid becoming concerned about the fact about being viewed as a trusted friend. being viewed as a close friend can cause an obstacle to trust and hilariously funny snarky behaviour is what happens. An emotionally astute and honest depiction of relationships between people. This movie spans the gamut of beautiful as well as ridiculous, and even painful and sad. Based on Dahlstrom who composed the screenplay along with Thorkild Srumpf. Similar incidents occurred at a friend's bachelorette party and led to them thinking about the "humor of the terror and vulnerability that people try to hide when they try to protect themselves from stress situations. Both of us are attracted by the human brain and the way our emotions affect us." When it comes to Turid and being in a state of confusion since Grete isn't worthy of the friendship she has with her, their celebration attempts to prove their love and move up the social ladder while tripping on herself and others on the journey.

The topic of friendship and jealousy may appear familiar, or be used as the basis for an upcoming film on dangerous female friendships Dahlstrom will steer away from melodrama, and instead take an approach to naturalism that focuses on dramatic and interesting acting performances, along with their emotional depth. Based on everyday situations that have a small amount of time Dahlstrom decided that "the camera must follow the actors and their actions rather than the other way about." This is the reason that the film seamlessly moves from scene to scene, highlighting the dangers we take to protect our friends and families and also our personal pride.
