Meet Fast Fwd: Inside 's last year's interactive video

 Capturing content of high quality

For the first time, we reached out to the members of our community from all across the world creative directors in the Netherlands, filmmakers in the UK and animators in Australia, and NGO activists in Nigeria just to mention some.

Then, we asked them to hop on their smartphones, cameras and laptops to address three questions about the year ahead:

  •   What's your goal to accomplish in the coming year?
  •   What's inspiring you in the new year?
  •   What are the most significant challenges that you expect to face for 2023?

Their answers spoke to the power of community such as this one from the Creative Director and Soursop co-founder Ravi Amaratunga Hitchcock...

 Streamlining the post process

When we edited all of videos submitted We knew that we wanted every segment of the video to stand alone. Therefore, we came up with a series of supercuts, featuring our favorite responses to the questions mentioned above.

And, to prepare for the possibility of interactivity, the's team came up with a set of ground principles to change the footage from sizzles and raw footage to an experience that is immersive.

  •   Create an interactive element in the first ten second  
  •   Let 15 minutes to :20 in between hotspots
