Jon Kung wasn't planning to pursue a career in the world of social media. Initially the pair didn't plan to make a living in the field of food. Chef and creator took classes in theater and creative writing as an undergrad prior to attending law school.
"It was ultimately about what I believed I is," they say. "I was at a crossroads between a law career and one in culinary, and while I was tempted to take the 'safe' route, the pull of serving food in the kitchen as well as the pleasure I experienced in doing my job was just too strong to not acknowledge."
