The family tradition of creativity runs deep for artist and illustrator Kentaro Yoshida. His mother, also an artist, played an impact on his work, even although she was not content with the direction his career took. "First she was not an advocate of my moving into full-time employment. I believe she understood that it was difficult because of her experiences. Yet, I did take a shot and did manage to finish it through to the end" Kentaro says. "She is the best motivator to me."

Kentaro grew up in an small fishing village located within Toyama, Japan, but moved to Australia in the year he turned aged 18 and became a resident of Sydney. Since then, he's worked out a lucrative part-time self-employed work being an artist. Prints are available for purchase, custom-designed painting murals and surfboards. Additionally, he collaborates with big brand names and artists.

Discover more details about how Kentaro came up with his unique style of design and the way his website has evolved over the past 10 years, in order to help support his artistic work and reflect his distinctive persona.
