Though many youngsters get their start in business by selling sweets to acquaintances, Morgan Hipworth took his first interest in food to the next step. The young founder of Bistro Morgan, the famous Australian bakery Bistro Bistro Morgan had the opportunity to gain an appreciation for food through participating in cooking courses when he was just seven .

"I watched other kids on the news who were working towards their goals and was thinking to myself"If they're able, if they're capable so can I do it too"" Morgan says. He put his belief to work "Each weekend, I would cook three-course meals for my family and my parents and then serve them in the dining room of my parents' house" Morgan says. "I increased my client base and extended my clientele to friends of the family, offering deliciously baked cakes for events like birthdays and other birthdays." In the age of 13, he was instructed to bring some sample cakes to a local café as he was the sole responsible for the cafe's supplies of bakery goods and desserts.

Incorporate your customers in your brand's story

"Being in a position to share an experience and truly make people feel at ease has been a fundamental aspect of building an audience," the author says. "Connection is the most essential factor as it's what makes a one-time customer a long-term client who's willing to support you throughout your life."
