What would you say about the style you prefer?

It's somewhere in between stylized and realistic fantasy drawings. I tend to use subtle and aqua color palettes and work with naturally fluid shapes. I believe that my "style" for an illustration artist is heavily determined by the colors I use and the subject that I work with, however is not always how the painting is done. My previous work was in a rather straight line , but recently I've moved to a more fluid and painterly style.

What are the most important factors to consider when drawing your fantasy art?

Refining them until the image is closest to the way I envision the image in my mind (within the context of I do not want to have to dedicate hours working on one piece of art). I'm determined to push my designs to their limit, and not give up on a bad illustration. I'd like to spend a long amount of time in order to create my dreamy illustration perfect instead of rushing through the process.

Where can people see your dreams?

I'll be a part of the upcoming "Oceans and Currents" exhibition at the Gallery Nucleus in July! While you wait you can follow me on my Instagram account. Prints are available for sale through my store on Bandcamp for those who are inquisitive!

In addition, I've got an account on Youtube and Bandcamp for those who wish to know the details about the music I'm playing as I'll be going to release more music very soon.

Her Background

I graduated from my school at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and I am currently working in the field of entertainment art as an artist conceptual as well as an illustrator. Also, I have a continuing project that is in the process of being developed called Pearl Farm that I am the artist for. I draw sketches. I also write, as performing original music.

The illustrations for the article come drawn from my own work, Pearl Farm. The story is my own which follows a traveler called Vinny along with her pet Ray Hubble while they travel around the globe called"the Lofty Coastline.
