Design options have been added for video and photos

Improve your site's design by using new formatting options for images and videos in 's website builder. Change the proportions of your aspect ratio, corner the width, and roundedness for an array of styles.

's website builder has different design options available for images as well as videos!

Change the appearance of your website by changing the settings to:

aspect ratio (images)

corner styles (images as well as videos)

wide (image and video)

The setting will be applied to all images in a particular section -- ideal for achieving a uniform look. The option to upload images is available in any section of a website that can have images, as well as video options in any section that are able to upload your own video.

This also means you have greater control over the appearance of your website logo! We changed the logo size restrictions (now it is 50% of the width of the header instead of 50px in height) in order to provide you with greater space and freedom for displaying your logo.

Note: You may notice that the width that you display your logo in your header or footer could have been altered in this upgrade. Go to the site builder right now to modify your preferences.

Three brand new design settings are available to use on websites

1. Aspect ratio

Aspect ratio is the basis for its proportionsor ratio of height versus width.

Select from five different aspect ratio options for your pictures:

natural (reflecting the original file)

square (1:1)

landscape (4:3)

Wide (16:9)

portrait (3:4)

2. Corners

The roundedness of the corners on an image or video using six possible options ranging from a straight 90-degree angle to an angle that is fully rounded, as well as an arch-shaped shape.

Combining different Corners and Aspect ratio settings will provide numerous choices. In particular, you could mix a 1:1 aspect ratio with round options to produce an image in a perfect circle.

3. Video and image length

Adjust the width of your videos and images to what looks best, depending on your Content Layout settings and appearance setting. If you want to align left or right on your media, you can set the width up to 60% of the page section.
