Louise Cherry Barber: Danica I am pleased to announce that you have been selected as our Springie Award Winner for our Q3 of 2023! So please tell me what it means for you to receive this Springie Award here at ?

Danica Larsen:It was really nice to, like, truly touching knowing that I put a lot of myself and my unique persona throughout my day. And it was nice to see that other people were aware of it and was greeted and acknowledged with a positive attitude that is, it wasn't just due to achieving a certain number that was previously the way I was recognized and other workplaces that I've worked at, but due to the individual I am and the things I've accomplished in addition to a specific number. It was a pleasure being recognized for who I am as a person. I found that really heartwarming.

Louise Cherry Barber: It's amazing and deserved. One thing that I'm fascinated by is for you to talk about some of the highlights, you know, from when you heard, but more specifically, the work that you performed on the benchmarking project was highlighted by a couple individuals. Can you tell us something about this?

Danica Larsen:Yes, I put in so much work and I'm thrilled to have it being recognized. I'm somewhat surprised to discover that benchmarking was one of the things which was mentioned as a result of the fact that we're in the early stages and there's still a lot of work to be completed. So I'm thrilled that everyone is enthusiastic about the initiative. Because it's going to provide an incredible amount of value. I really hope it's going provide much value, not just to us as a corporation as well, but also for our buyers, customers too. And we'll help to give us some insights into the ways we can expand long term, which we've observed works in the long run as a successful idea. This was a great thing to see already at the first sort of, you know, like beta stages was really amazing, as it means that other people see the value also.

Louise Cherry Barber: We have recently revised our company values to: Create a difference, Seek to Understand and Act With Urgency. I'm curious about what you think about the new values.

Danica Larsen: What they encompass is doing the right thing as well as understanding what doing is the proper thing. That means actually researching, delving into the issue, then acting fast and quickly before making a final decision. And I genuinely can stand by that every day... Also, taking a look at other employees in on the Support Team as well, I mean, that they share the same ideals with our customers and also with buyers, every day. They're on the front, the front field, seeking understanding and acting fast, since that's a part of if they cannot perform those tasks. As an organization, and nobody can be able to continue working with us.

Louise Cherry Barber:What suggestions do you have for those on the other side ? Are you someone who would love to live by the principles? Do you have any advice for making those manifest?

Danica Larsen I can only speak from my perspective. I only speak from my perspective. However, I believe the most important factor is to listen as much as you can. When you're working with the different accounts, the businesses, the sellers, everybody who we work with, being aware of their needs and understanding the reason behind their need, that determines what we can be doing and how we ought to act. This is the "seeking understanding" that you can't do it without listening. That's my pro tip number one: just to listen to others.
