Connecting to your true self, that is the very essence of who a person truly is.

Angela Maria Sierra, a Spanish-born artist, portrays true herself as well as the feelings she is experiencing. It's a result as models that are full of emotion which is full of compassion, ease and joy.

The artist is known in the art world as Riso Chan - the portrait painter as and an artist that is an instructor in The Netherlands. The artist is about to start her artistic journey with the making of videos, and even her personal YouTube channel! It's something she's always wanted to do for some time. By overcoming her fear and with determination she endured the awkwardness of speaking to cameras, she made an enjoyable video that showcases her working, life in general, and the creative environment within which she lives.                Artist Vlog - Riso Chan

Riso Chan about embracing her sensitive true self through her art work:

My work is very emotional. My portraits depict the emotions I feel. Through my entire life, I have been a sensitive person. At the time I was a kid I was sensitive, there was something which always made me feel uncomfortable  but I tried to forget about the issue. (...) As you mature and get older, you realize that all is well and everyone feels different. I decided to use my emotions that I bring to my everyday existence to create art. It is a way to boost my imagination and generate new ideas. It's incredible that this thing I've been trying to push down all my life, all of a sudden I put it down on a piece of paper and felt as if I was sighing with joy. I am finally able to use this sense, where I have the ability to utilize these feelings as well as joys, sorrows and feelings and write them down. It was an incredibly rewarding moment that brought me to a state that was filled with gratitude. It started to resonate with a lot of other people. It was like opening the doors and writing down ideas on papers that I'd not thought of previously. In lieu trying to look similar to others who previously "made the cut" I was really paying attention to the things I wanted to express and what I would like to convey as an individual. I took on something that I wasn't happy about regarding me, and discovered that it was actually my greatest strengths. I'm very content to be my authentic sensual self.
